Gresford in Denbighshire is the latest addition to the One-Place Studies Directory.
The study includes people who are connected with Gresford Parish through birth, marriage, death, burial or residence. Historically, a small part of the parish was in Flintshire. The study area includes Gwersyllt, Llay and Rossett.
It increases the total number of study places in Wales to 11, compared with 39 in Scotland, 216 in Ireland and 1,710 in England.
Welsh genealogical studies are notoriously difficult because of the very high numbers of people sharing very common surnames such as Jones, Roberts, Williams etc.
