Snowdon Sherpa
Since January 2018 the Snowdon Sherpa services S4 and S97 have been operated by Gwynfor Coaches of Anglesey,
Service S4:
Pen y Pass – Beddgelert – Rhyd Ddu – Snowdon Ranger – Caernarfon
& Caernarfon – Snowdon Ranger – Rhyd Ddu – Beddgelert – Pen y Pass
Timetable: Monday to Saturday (excluding Public Holidays)
IMPORTANT: On Sundays & Public Holidays the S4 operates a much shorter service:
Pen y Pass – Beddgelert – Rhyd Ddu
& Rhyd ddu – Beddgelert – Pen y Pass
Timetable: Sundays & Public Holidays
Service S97:
Beddgelert – Pont Aberglaslyn – Porthmadog
Porthmadog – Pont Aberglaslyn – Beddgelert
Timetable: Monday to Saturday (excluding Public Holidays)
Timetable: Sundays & Public Holidays
Past bus operators covering the Beddgelert area have included Express Motors, Whiteways, Arriva and Crosville.
Express Motors ceased operating in January 2018 after having its licence revoked by the Traffic Commissioner of Wales for a number of failings, including the state of its buses and falsification of servicing records.

Motor Bus Services 1973
Messrs. Whiteway Services, of 6 Castle Square, Caernarvon, operate a service from Caernarvon to Llyn Cwellyn, Rhyd ddu, the Beddgelert camp site and Beddgelert village. Certain buses go on to Portmadoc, or to Nant Gwynant.
The Crosville Company runs a service from Portmadoc to Beddgelert village. Time-tables, No. 5 Area, from Crane Wharf, Chester.
There are no Sunday bus services at Beddgelert.
